Course description
Mission statement
To give Avaloq customizers the ability to create advanced reports which are, in addition, performant and consider the end-user experience.

Course description
Report Writer technology is used to extract, transform, process and present data from the Avaloq Core Platform. It is used in almost all banking areas and is a very important part of Avaloq data processing as well as the end-user experience.

As an Avaloq Certified Customization Professional you are already capable of developing basic reports. However, to produce a more professional output you need to be aware of advanced features and the latest developments. In addition, one of the main reasons for delayed end-of-day processing are poorly performing reports, usually a consequence of expensive work-arounds because of limited Report Writer knowledge. Another recurrent issue is user dissatisfaction due to lack of consideration by customizers of usability criteria. Therefore, it is very important that mastery of Report Writer includes consideration of both performance and usability.

At the end of this course, you will have a better understanding of the Report Writer Engine, its possibilities, shortcomings and strengths and your customizations will be more robust, more flexible and more performant.
