Course description
This course provides an introduction to the reconciliation subject with an overview of end to end exception handling process and the correspondent modules in the Avaloq Banking Suite (ABS).
In this course cash reconciliation will be covered. The difference between external and internal reconciliation will be explained. Some practical examples of automatic reconciliation will be presented. Furthermore the participant will get insights to the concept of the reconciliation solution in ABS. This part will end with a business functionality related presentation including the order books used for daily monitoring and manual matching, tools for supervising data quality and investigation items used in exception handling.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course every participant will:
  • Recognize the importance of the regular reconciliation
  • Understand the interaction between ABS and external systems
  • Learn the concepts of the reconciliation solution
  • Get in touch with orders books used in daily business
  • Get known the tools used to support the investigation process
Target audience
Key business users - reconciliation agents who work in a back office as well as reconciliation agents with supervisory capacities – who deal with reconciliation.
Prerequisites
Before participating in this course, participants must have either attended the course “Avaloq Foundation (FOU)” or have equivalent knowledge and experience with the Avaloq Banking System.
