Course description
During this course participants will get an insight into the needs and best practices regarding the complete output processing of the Avaloq Banking System (ABS).
 
After an introduction to the most important elements of the output processing, the course focuses on the workflows related to creating and processing of output. The course shows the various possibilities and requirements to set up, maintain and use the built-in Avaloq Output Management Module. Participants will develop the big picture of Avaloq output management and acquire the necessary knowledge to configure predefined output types and support the processing of output. Based on examples, possible solutions will be shown by covering all customisation areas. The course is based on tools, functions and APIs which are included in the ABS.
 
In addition to the theoretical background, participants will be walked through some uses cases and solve exercises. This course contains no customisation exercises. The course is geared towards Application Operations Specialists who need a fundamental know-how of Avaloq Output Management.

  • How to debug and troubleshoot the processing of output
Target audience
Members of IT Operations organisations at customers or partners side. Also application managers and application operation managers.
Prerequisites
Before participating in this course, participants must have either attended the course “Fundamentals of Avaloq Application Operations (OAO)” or have equivalent knowledge and experience with the Avaloq Banking System.
Additionally, participants should have knowledge in the area of Toad or SQL developer; have an understanding of simple PL/SQL statements as well as basic knowledge of Avaloq code tables.
