Course description
This course provides participants with an overview of the basic concepts of position and book keeping and explains how to assess the Avaloq Banking Suite’s condition with regards to the Book Engine’s load and the resulting maintenance of up-to-date position keeping.
 
Participants will learn to evaluate the Avaloq Banking Suite’s status more appropriately and to identify the proper measures to be taken in specific situations
Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
  • understand the concepts of position and book keeping
  • understand the procedures for exporting bookings
Target audience
Customisation specialists who would like to further their knowledge of position- and bookkeeping, and better understand the options for monitoring the booking engine.
 
Prerequisites
Participants must have
  • Successfully completed the course “Fundamentals of Avaloq Customisation” or "ACCP with Major in Front / Core"
  • Basic knowledge of the Book Engine, pillars and their calculation, as well as knowledge of background processes and SQL
