Course description
This course gives participants a complete overview of  the money market business and the ways money market contracts are processed in the Avaloq Banking System.

The course starts with an introduction to the main concepts of the money market business, its conventions, the involved participants and the products they trade. It then focuses on the specifics of processing money market deals within the Avaloq Banking Suite. The straight-through processing capabilities of the money market module  are discussed as well as trades’ lifecycle events.

Participants will be familiarised with the processing of the supported money market products, namely call deposits and time deposits. All relevant business use cases are handled step by step, starting with trade initiation, continuing through interest rate changes and renewals, up to early termination and automated redemption. The relevant specifics of each use case will be communicated.
